Instructor: Tejal Rajyagor, Mindfulness and Embodied Presence Listener & Mayuree Pandit, Collective Healing FacilitatorLanguage: English
As leaders in the social sector, our endless efforts for creating a world that works for all are confronted with multiple symptoms of the poly-crises that are alive in our individual and collective bodies. For those at the margins, the impact is more brutal than for the ones cushioned by privilege. The scale-oriented, impact driven, problem solving approach, and fast paced work does not allow time and space to acknowledge and process the range of emotions we feel when faced with the many signs of collapse. Within social change movements, a growing fatigue, helplessness and despair can be felt.
Although the pressure to keep the wheel going is immeasurable, there are clear signs that all of this is affecting our bodies, our mental health, our relationships, communities and our work. And yet, it seems we have forgotten how to sit with this pain with ourselves and with each other. The spaces for and memory of rich cultural practices for collective grieving and resilience building are shrinking.
This pre-recorded guidance session offers a reflective pathway into understanding grief and its role in these times. The session supports participants in making sense of grief, exploring how it lives in the body and mind, and identifying gentle, practical next steps toward healing. Through guided inquiry, reflective prompts, and grounded frameworks, participants are invited to build personal pathways for resilience, care, and reconnection with self, work, and the wider living world.
About the Guides
Mayuree and Tejal are long time friends and collaborators who have been traveling the paths of healing personal and collective wounds through various modalities and community based practices. These include social change and leadership, body wisdom practices, engaging in stories, poetry and song of the sub-continent, earth based rituals, conscious communication, sustainable and simple living amongst others. We felt the need to initiate the co-creation of a space where more of us could bring our life’s journeys together and sense into our current times.
